The scene shifted far beyond the mortal realm — to the hallowed, shimmering halls of the Divine Court of South Ryehem. Towering pillars of silver light reached endlessly toward a sky of soft golden clouds. The air itself shimmered with an ethereal glow, carrying the gentle hum of ancient hymns that had been sung since time began.
At the center of this grand court, seated upon a magnificent throne forged from celestial marble, was God Julius — the supreme deity of South Ryehem. His gaze was calm and all-seeing, his presence so overwhelming that even the holy light seemed to bow before him.
Before Julius stood Angel Levi, a beautiful figure draped in flowing robes of radiant white, his pure wings folded respectfully behind him. Levi was the appointed watcher of South Ryehem, responsible for observing and reporting the state of the mortal world to the heavens.
Their conversation, until now, had lingered on mundane matters — the economy of South Ryehem, the shifting tides of mortal politics, and the rise and fall of trade routes between allied regions.
But then, Levi's expression turned somber."My lord Julius," he began, voice soft yet unwavering, "I believe it is necessary to speak about one particular soul amongst your people. Kazuki — the Emperor's son."
Julius's ancient eyes narrowed slightly, a glimmer of interest flickering within their depths."Proceed, Levi."
Levi took a breath, then spoke with steady conviction."I have observed his actions closely. Even at such a tender age, his mind is unnaturally sharp. He plots in ways no child should, displaying foresight and resolve far beyond what mortal blood should allow. His recent defiance of the fear laid upon his academy peers, his disregard for the manipulations surrounding him — it is unnatural, my lord. There is more to that child than mere royal blood."
A long silence hung between them.
Then, Julius let out a low, thoughtful sigh, his voice echoing through the sacred court like a roll of distant thunder."Of course there is." He rested his hand against the arm of his throne. "He holds the greatest Spiritual Force in all of South Ryehem. And he bears Elsa as his spirit — the Spirit of Absolute Purity. That alone makes him a figure worth watching."
He leaned forward slightly, his tone dropping to something darker, weightier.
"But there is more. Have you forgotten the ancient prophecy, Levi? The one inscribed in the Scrolls of Fate's Chosen Path?"
Levi's eyes flickered, but he remained silent.
Julius gave a small, knowing smile."If he truly is the reincarnated one, the soul destined to tread that path, then his cunning, his defiance, his unnatural aura… it all makes perfect sense." He gestured toward the distant world below them. "After all, no ordinary prince could wield such force, nor resist the darkness like he does. The threads of fate cling tightly to him."
Levi inclined his head in understanding, not daring to speak further.
"That is all for now, Levi. You are dismissed."
With a bow, Angel Levi's form shimmered and vanished in a burst of soft light.
The court remained silent for a few heartbeats, until the grand doors opened once more.
Stepping gracefully into the chamber was Sneha, a regal figure clad in robes of shimmering azure and silver. Her dark hair flowed like silk, and her sharp eyes held the same calm wisdom as her daughter, Elsa. As the First Assistant to Julius and the mother of the Spirit of Purity herself, Sneha held a position of immense importance in the Divine Court.
She approached the throne, offering a deep, respectful bow."You summoned me, my lord?" she asked, her voice gentle yet resolute.
Julius gestured for her to rise, his expression thoughtful.
"I wished to ask you, Sneha," he began, "as the mother of Elsa — what is your assessment of the bond she shares with Kazuki?"
Sneha paused, considering her answer carefully."It is unlike any I have seen in centuries, my lord. Elsa's aura responds to his presence with unusual intensity. Where she is typically detached, serene — with him, she burns brighter. It is as if their fates are intertwined by a force older than even the spirits themselves."
Julius's eyes narrowed in satisfaction."Good. Keep observing them both, Sneha. The time will come when we must decide whether to intervene… or allow destiny to unravel on its own."
Sneha bowed again."As you command, my lord."
With that, the divine court fell silent once more, the distant hymns rising again as the threads of fate continued to weave their unseen tapestry.
