The scene shifts to the divine court of Julius, where the god of South Ryehem sat alone upon his throne, surrounded by an endless expanse of golden light and ancient pillars. His expression was thoughtful, his eyes locked upon a crystal sphere hovering gently before him. Waves of divine energy rippled through the air as Julius summoned visions of the mortal realm within the sphere.
Within moments, the sphere began to display the memories and actions of Kazuki — the young prince of South Ryehem. Julius carefully observed the events unfold: Kazuki's calm demeanor in court, his calculated conversations, and the subtle schemes he orchestrated against North Ryehem. The god watched in silence as the visions revealed more and more of the boy's intricate mind.
However, when Julius tried to peer into Kazuki's future, the unexpected happened — the crystal sphere cracked violently and then burst into countless shimmering fragments, vanishing into thin air. Julius's eyes widened in shock. Even for a god of his stature, it was unheard of for a mortal's future to resist divine foresight.
"What future might this boy hold…?" Julius muttered under his breath, his voice tinged with rare uncertainty. "Even my power cannot glimpse his fate… Could it be…?"
Not one to leave matters unresolved, Julius summoned a new sphere, channeling a greater surge of power into its creation. The newly formed sphere glowed even brighter as he again attempted to glimpse into Kazuki's destiny. Yet once more, the sphere cracked, unable to bear the strain, before imploding into fragments.
Frustration flickered in Julius's gaze. He leaned back against his throne, resting his hand against his chin in thought. "Not even I can see beyond this point. Whatever lies ahead for this child… it is something that even the gods are barred from knowing."
Deciding to retrace the boy's origins instead, Julius recreated the crystal sphere for a third time — this time focusing solely on Kazuki's past. The sphere displayed many events of his current life: his birth, his early days in the royal mansion, his sharp and clever behavior even as an infant — acting far too aware for a child not even a month old.
Julius furrowed his brows in concern. "For a newborn to possess such cunning awareness… this boy is anything but ordinary."
As Julius delved deeper, he witnessed Kazuki's school days, his strategic remarks, and glimpses of the boy's subtle plans brewing against North Ryehem. What made it even stranger was that the sphere showed no trace of Kazuki's past life. It was as if those memories were sealed or shrouded in a mist even Julius's divine powers couldn't pierce.
A foreboding feeling settled within the god's heart.
"Not a kid at all," Julius thought, leaning forward, his expression turning serious. "He carries the presence of one far older… far wiser. Could it be that he is truly connected to the prophecy of 'Fate's Chosen Path'... or perhaps something even beyond that?"
The golden court fell into silence once more. Julius dismissed the sphere and closed his eyes, feeling an unusual weight in the air.
"South Ryehem's fate may very well lie in his hands. And perhaps… so might the fate of the gods themselves."
