Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

Another graduation season had arrived. The students from the University of Technology were getting ready to leave the campus they had lived in for the past four years.

"Finally, we've graduated. We can leave today. We're free now" said Tracy with excitement.

"Have you all found a place to move into" asked Aila.

"I'll stay in the company dorm. The condition isn't great, but at least it's free. I just started working and don't have much money. I need to save wherever I can" said Irish.

"You're lucky you already have a job. I don't even have one yet. I'm going home today. After this, we'll go our separate ways. I'll really miss you guys" said Tracy.

"You don't look sad at all. You look way too excited" said Kycel.

After packing up everything, Tracy took one last look at their dorm room, picked up her luggage, and left the school.

Among the four of them, only Irish found a job in the city. The other two went back to their hometowns. Tracy didn't know when they would meet again.

Three years ago, her parents had passed away. Tracy had become quiet since then. Over time, the sadness faded. If her parents were still alive, they would want her to live well.

After moving everything back home, Tracy looked at the familiar house. It still looked the same, but the people she loved were gone. That made her feel even more alone.

She cleaned up the house and got ready to go to the supermarket to buy some daily items. She hadn't lived at home for a while, and many things were missing.

Carrying several shopping bags, she came out of the supermarket and was about to call a taxi. Just then, she saw a little girl standing by the road. A car was speeding toward her.

Without thinking, Tracy rushed over and pushed the girl away. The car hit her instead. She was thrown into the air, rolled on the ground a few times, and finally stopped. Blood came out of her mouth.

She looked at her body lying there, bleeding. Was she already dead Was her soul floating outside her body

She thought about it. She had no family left. Even if she died, no one would cry for her. Maybe now she could go see her parents in heaven. At least she saved the little girl. That made her feel like her death wasn't meaningless.

But she didn't notice that her blood had splashed onto her necklace. The pendant on her necklace absorbed her blood, then disappeared and turned into a glowing light that entered her soul.

She saw a flash of light coming toward her but didn't react in time. It entered her body. At first, she thought it was something dangerous, but then she felt warm, like she was soaking in warm milk. Suddenly, a lot of information appeared in her mind. There was so much that she couldn't take it all in. She fainted.

The little girl, Shirley, had been playing near the road. Tracy pushed her out of the way just in time. She fell to the ground, then saw Tracy hit by the car. She was terrified and started crying loudly.

Her brother Cris had seen everything too. He had wanted to run over and protect his sister, but he was too far. Even though he was fast, it was impossible to get there in time. Thankfully, a brave girl rushed out and saved Shirley. Cris didn't even want to imagine what could've happened if she hadn't. He would never forgive himself.

When he heard Shirley crying, Cris ran over right away, helped her up, and gently said, "Shirley, it's okay. You're safe now. Don't cry. It's my fault. I didn't watch you closely enough."

Seeing his little sister cry made his heart ache. The whole scene had been terrifying. If that girl hadn't acted so fast, Shirley could've been seriously hurt. Just thinking about it made his heart race. If something had happened to Shirley, he wouldn't be able to live with himself.

He looked at the girl who had saved his sister. She was badly injured. People around had already called for an ambulance, but looking at her condition, Cris worried she wouldn't make it.

An older man nearby warned him, "Young man, don't move her. The ambulance is coming. If you move her carelessly, her injuries might get worse."

"Don't worry, sir. She saved my sister. She's our hero. I won't hurt her. But if we don't do something now, she might not survive until help arrives" Cris explained.

People saw how serious her injuries were and didn't stop him anymore. Cris took out a pill. It was very rare and valuable. He didn't want to waste it, but saving someone's life was more important. He put the pill into her mouth.

She was unconscious and couldn't swallow. But the pill was special. As soon as it entered her mouth, it melted into a liquid and was absorbed by her body.

Her wounds slowly started to heal. But Cris didn't know that her internal injuries had already been healing because of the mysterious energy from earlier. The pill only helped her outer wounds. If Cris had known that, he might not have used such a precious pill.

Shirley calmed down after her brother Cris comforted her. Even though she was only five years old, she already understood a lot. She knew that Tracy had saved her, so she felt very worried about Tracy.

Soon, the ambulance arrived. Tracy was lifted onto the stretcher and taken to the hospital.

"Brother, let's go with sister to the hospital. She will feel very lonely if she's all alone," Shirley said.

Cris felt proud of how thoughtful his little sister was. He took her to the hospital. Even if she hadn't said anything, he would still have gone. Although he had given Tracy a rare healing pill, it could only help a little. Tracy didn't know martial arts, so she couldn't fully use the pill's power. She still needed treatment at the hospital.

When they got to the hospital, Tracy was taken straight into the emergency room. Shirley looked worried and said, "Brother, do you think sister will be okay?"

"Sister will be fine. She is so kind. Heaven will protect her," Cris said.

Everything had happened so fast that Cris hadn't told their parents yet. He planned to explain everything after he got home. If he said it over the phone, it would only make them worry more without understanding the full story.

Actually, with Tracy's serious injuries, she should have died before the ambulance arrived. But she was very lucky. The blood she coughed up landed on her necklace pendant. That blood activated a hidden dimension store inside the pendant.

Because of Tracy's blood, the dimension store accepted her as its new owner. Once it was connected to her, the store didn't allow her to die. It used its own energy to pull Tracy's soul back into her body and healed her. Along with the healing pill Cris gave her, her injuries were almost fully repaired.

But because the store used up so much power, it became weak and fell asleep. Before going silent, it quickly gave Tracy some important information. It would only wake up again after gaining enough energy.

When the ambulance arrived at the hospital, Tracy still looked like she was badly hurt. Her clothes were soaked with blood. But her real injuries had already healed. So when she was taken into the emergency room and the doctors checked her, they only found small scratches. After some simple treatment, they brought her out.

A doctor walked out and said to Cris, "Are you the patient's family? Don't worry. Even though she looked badly hurt, she only has some surface injuries. She fainted because of a hit to the head. She will wake up soon. We'll keep her here for one day, and if everything is fine, she can go home."

Cris was surprised. He clearly remembered how bad Tracy's injuries were. He didn't expect that now they were only light wounds. It seemed that the healing pill worked really well. He needed to get more of them from Old Zhao. Carrying those pills could save lives. As the leader of a special task force under the national security team, his job was dangerous. With those pills, he and his teammates could stay safer.

"Soon you can see the sister who saved you," Cris told Shirley. "You must thank her. Do you understand? And from now on, you can't run off like that again. If sister hadn't saved you, Mommy, Daddy, and I would've never seen you again. We would all be so sad."

"Brother, I know I was wrong. I won't run off anymore. If I hadn't done that, sister wouldn't have gotten hurt. She coughed up so much blood. It must have hurt a lot. I'll blow on her to make the pain go away. When I got hurt before, Mommy blew on me and it didn't hurt anymore," Shirley said.

When Tracy woke up, she found herself in a hospital room. She couldn't believe she was still alive. Her last memory was of a bright white light entering her mind. Did that light save her? Or did her soul leave her body and imagine it?

As she thought about the white light, her mind was suddenly filled with a lot of information. Then she understood why she didn't die. It was because she had connected with the dimension store.

When she coughed blood, the store accepted her as its owner. Its power brought her back to life. If not for that, she would really have died.

Before Tracy could fully understand the dimension store, she saw a little girl standing next to her. The girl had big, clear eyes that sparkled like stars. When she saw Tracy wake up, she smiled happily. Her eyes looked like curved moons and her whole face was full of light.

Shirley said excitedly, "Sister, you're awake! My name is Shirley. I'm so happy you're okay! If you hadn't saved me, I wouldn't have been able to see my parents or my brother again. Are you still hurting? I'll blow on you to make you feel better."

Tracy looked at the cute little girl next to her. This was the child she had saved. Before, she didn't notice her face. But now that she looked closely, she saw that Shirley was very pretty.

Tracy didn't regret saving her. Even though she almost lost her life, this little girl was too young. If something happened to her, her family would be heartbroken. Besides, Tracy had gained something from this event. She now had the dimension store.

"Sister is fine now. Your name is Shirley, right? Where's your family?" Tracy asked.

"My brother went to buy some food. He'll be back soon. Sister, I want to tell you something. My brother Cris is very handsome. He doesn't have a girlfriend yet. Do you want to be my sister-in-law?" Shirley asked.

Tracy didn't know whether to laugh or be surprised. How could such a little girl be so playful? But seeing her alive and full of energy made Tracy feel that everything she did was worth it. She couldn't imagine this cheerful child lying still without life.

Because of the dimension store and the healing pill, Tracy's body had fully recovered. Even the small cuts from earlier had healed. They were still covered with bandages, so no one could tell.
