Synopsis
Like I explained to my therapist. In A Lot Of these events all happen in the year 2033. Yeah a long time ago. But reflecting back on that time, I will say that I'm impressed with myself that I haven't fallen to that darkness of killing. Because what I did I did to survive. Even though I was one of the many victims that survive that psychopaths plan. The man who Imprisoned 250, 000 players inside of virtual reality prison for 3 years. I have lost friends, but the enemies I fought. I have no recruits and I am glad that I put them in their brain dead state. But that could have been me. And back the reality of it, it was life or death. Me Or Them. Survival and Freedom.

Chapter 1 - In Reality

The Dream Of Escaping Reality Is Not Joy or Euphoria. It's An Illusion.

"Oh, how so?" Doctor Jordan asks sarcastically.

"Simple. Back in the day of post covid I got more addicted to playing video games. I was mostly just playing on my Playstation or Xbox. I never really had a PC at the time, but I developed more until I developed a habit of Playing VR games. But I was also more addicted to my phone. I was more into online social media at the time. A bunch of these online entertainers using virtual reality avatars of playing games. Talking to people live on their streaming chat. It was something that I just took aware of at the time and got more into it. Then a couple years passed by and people started wearing less covid masks. Everybody was going back to normal but as usual the world was in a shitstorm. And especially on the online social media side it is just a wasteland of degenerates that are either convinced from their own Delusions or grand righteousness defending what they assume to be the answer for the bigger crowd or those that just want to voice their opinion on something just mundane but soon to be taken as a serious statement and stir up Hate by accident.

It's those kinds of people online that are quite hard to get used to, but once you've been on the online social media arena, You get used to it and get a little bit of entertainment there and then.

But around the end of the decade of the 2020's. And After my grandfather passed away I decided to move out of my hometown and decided to dive into a hobby that had the potential of giving me a paycheck. A hobby that just shows the definition of showing my creativity because I just love to create stuff or put my opinion on stuff and I decide to make my own online persona of being a Video game online creator. That persona The Neverwhere Boy… or as my online channel name, TheN353tWhere_Boi." I smiled awkwardly.

"Okay okay, I understand where you're coming from but I want to ask you before you go more into your online background. Can you please explain to me how you were able to fall into such a cataclysmic horror show of a tragedy. Can you please tell me the beginning of how you got to that." The doctor said.

"All right I see. I was about to get to that because I need to explain all this to tell you that. So let me explain then.

If you were familiar around the gaming space of 2030 around the new decade, The billion dollar AI, nano chip company TelVa. They invested into creating virtual reality video game technology. On the surface it was people were asking 'why would a company that has so many resources that could change the world focus on making video games?'

While the simplest answer is money. Because video games nowadays are just a luxury to buy. It was getting more of an expensive hobby but also leading to more people like children or those that have low income to view gameplay videos or walkthroughs on games that are now expensive to even purchase. Like Back in the middle of the decade games were turning $90, and now a simple console Game. A game disc and a plastic case is now $120. It is truly a luxury. But now it has been returned into A great investment and that's what TelVa Saw in gaming. They didn't just saw the potential of billions of dollars making, but also the potential of using gaming technology to use in the government.

I know it sounds crazy, but this s*** was actually trending for months, And I had to talk about it on a podcast that I produced back in the late 2020s everybody was talking about it and saw the potential. That video games isn't going to be a hobby any more but a serious part of military training or military warfare. And Don't you dare give me the politics of a shitstorm. It was just awful. After an awful take of what conclusion could a party come to? It was bad for both sides either way. The pros are good but the cons are way too great.

And this controversy lasted until the man himself stepped in and you know the man. The same man who got me into that hell hole. The same man who imprisoned 250,000 people with it at a digital prison and only a few were able to survive…

"Evan" The doctor said as he sat up from lounging on his chair. "I know you don't want to say his name and I know who you're talking about, but for the sake of the session you need to get over and speak to his name to truly move away from this tragedy, please tell me the man's name."

I did not want to say that god-awful name again now after what he put me through but I spoke. "I am quite hesitant. But… Okay… The psychopath genius himself… Allen Brighterton. The man who Imprisoned 250, 000 players inside of virtual reality prison for 3 years.
