It was the year, the year we would never thought it would be the time of a massive dramatic change for everyone in the planet Earth. Covid-19, the dangerous virus that had taken the lives of millions in the past, making it a hard time for the world to overcome the crisis.
Back to back lockdowns, MCOs, stricting everyone to stay in their houses, forcing to shut down schools and workplaces, causing a major issues for every country to save themselves from the virus. Although it was tough, we somehow managed to reduce the cases of this virus until it became a common disease like any other diseases.
The rollout of vaccines starting in late 2020 and into 2021 provided a pathway toward controlling the spread of the virus, reducing severe illness and death, and allowing countries to gradually reopen. However, access to vaccines was uneven globally, highlighting deep inequities in healthcare and economic systems.
Despite the eventual lifting of many restrictions, the social, economic, and psychological effects of the pandemic continue to be felt around the world, with ongoing challenges in healthcare, mental health, and social cohesion. The pandemic left a lasting mark on humanity, reshaping our collective experience and reminding us of both our vulnerabilities and our capacity for resilience and adaptation.
But.....who would have thought that another virus that is 10 times deadlier than Covid-19, would make a comeback to fight against the planet Earth again? And the worst of all, had to deal with an unknown entry of a serial killer?
2024...
Fast forward to the year 2024, it has been almost half a decade after the Covid-19 pandemic. Everything has gone back to normal, that was until....
"This is my time to shine, I should take this chance to control the world perfectly again."
An unknown black masked man covered himself completely from something he should protected himself, or something he was holding in his hand. He was holding a lab tube that was filled with a millions of fleas that were carrying a deadly virus that could unalive almost everything in the area.
The masked man walked towards an abandoned forest that's far away from the city side. No one was allowed to enter the forest as wild animals and dangerous plants were living there, and the government decided to block anyone from accessing to the forest for their own good. However, the man managed to find a way to get inside the forest to execute his evil plan which he had been planning for years.
Suddenly, some wild animals detected some movements next to them and they showed themselves up in front of the masked man. They growled and looked upset at the sudden appearance of the man. Instead of getting frightened, he smirked widely as he knew it was the right time to proceed his attack.
"Good luck to you, my dear friends. You all are going to be the assistance of my plan." With that said, he opened the tube and looked at the wild animals one by one. Never did they knew that a single drop of the tube can become the biggest impact that will wipe out the mankind in the world.
The man laughed out loudly and the wild animals growled even louder. "Have fun getting bitten." He quickly dropped his tube onto the ground, and within a second, millions of fleas were released and they slowly started to crawl around the wild animals. After a few seconds, the animals started to act bizzare and they suddenly shouted aggressively more and more. The masked man adjusted his body cover before ran away from the area while laughed evily.
Then, something sinister started to happen, the wild animals' body colour began to change, it was becoming pure light green the moment the fleas bite their fleshes. Less than a minute, the animals were unalived and green smoke released from their dead bodies. Nearby plants were also affected by the smoke and they released their own as well.
With the presence of millions of fleas in the forest and bitten some lives in there, a "new virus" began to multiply a thousands per second. The forest was completely surrounded to the virus and it became a dangerous place for any living thing to stay there even for a second.
More animals and plants had been affected by the virus, now its only task was to affect humans as well. Soon enough, they would take away the lives of so many humans in a short period of time.
The virus is known as.....
"THE BLACK DEATH"
