"Come here!"

There was an extremely arrogant expression on Su Li's youthful face.

Xubai couldn't understand what the boy was shouting—but it felt the provocation.

The confusion in Xubai's eyes vanished, replaced instantly by fury.

How dare a mortal provoke a divine being? This brat, facing divine power, dared to challenge it. What a suicidal fool!

Enraged, Xubai's body tensed briefly—then launched forward toward Su Li.

At the same moment, Su Li's Reiatsu surged. The air burst around him. His hair shimmered faintly silver.

Ultra Instinct: Omen.

The violent wind forced the Second Division members behind him to squint against the pressure. Xubai closed in at terrifying speed. As it struck at Su Li's head, the boy didn't flinch. Calm as still water, he slightly tilted his head, dodging effortlessly.

Xubai's eyes flickered—shock. It hadn't expected such precision.

It immediately followed up with a powerful knee aimed at Su Li's abdomen. But again, with a fluid twist of his waist, Su Li evaded with ease.

Furious, Xubai launched a flurry of attacks—hundreds of strikes in less than ten seconds. Every move was brutal, the angles savage. Yet Su Li evaded each one effortlessly.

His movements looked strange—like an otherworldly dance—yet flowed naturally like breathing.

The Second Division members behind him were stunned. The fierce exchange generated a violent storm of wind, forcing them to shield their eyes. Some squinted through wind-burnt tears, unwilling to blink.

"Captain... Captain Sui-Feng..." Omaeda crawled beside her, voice distorted by the gale. "That... that fighting style... isn't that what he used... against you...?"

Sui-Feng's eyes shimmered with emotion. She nodded weakly. "Yes. Ultra Instinct..."

Watching Xubai flail helplessly, Sui-Feng remembered her own defeat during the graduation exam. That overwhelming fear when Su Li moved like a phantom, always out of reach.

Now, seeing someone else be helpless in front of that same power, Sui-Feng felt relieved. Almost... smug.

She wanted to clap.

Unfortunately, her body was too weak to move, so she lay silently on the ground, eyes glowing.

"Strong!! So strong!! My amazing vice-captain, go!! Just give him one for my dad too!!" Omaeda howled, practically in tears.

On the battlefield, Xubai's rage boiled.

In just two minutes, it had launched over four hundred strikes. It changed angles. It changed speed. Nothing worked.

Why? Why couldn't it land a single blow?

Every time, it came so close—yet Su Li always slipped away in the final moment.

Worse, Xubai noticed something else: Su Li hadn't moved at all.

They were still standing where they started. He didn't dodge by stepping—he avoided everything using just subtle movements.

Was this boy even human?

Frustrated, Xubai stopped. It leapt back, raised a hand—and its fingertips began to glow.

Cero.

A Vasto Lorde-level Cero—an attack beyond Captain-class.

Behind Su Li, panic exploded.

This wasn't a joke. If that Cero landed—even if Su Li could withstand it—the rest of them wouldn't survive.

Would they vaporize? Turn to dust? No one knew.

But before their fear could take full shape, Su Li vanished.

In the blink of an eye, he appeared in front of Xubai. He grabbed its glowing hand, raised it skyward, and said casually, "Really? If we're fighting, then fight. Why throw artillery?"

BOOM.

The golden Cero exploded harmlessly in the sky, lighting up the battlefield in burning yellow.

Xubai stared at Su Li, dumbfounded.

Just now—it hadn't seen him move at all.

Su Li stretched lazily, cracking his neck, a mischievous grin forming. "Alright, warm-up's done. Now we can have some fun. I hope you're strong enough to entertain me."

Everyone behind him fell silent.

What?!

They had thought Su Li's performance up till now was serious. Turns out—he had only been warming up?!

No wonder his dodging looked like some kind of weird dance—it was a literal warm-up routine!

Everyone was speechless.

In the distance, the Eighth Division had also been watching closely. Though they couldn't hear Su Li's voice clearly, the battle was perfectly visible.

They were dead silent. Unlike the Second Division's awe, their expressions were sheer shock.

They had watched Su Li punch a Vasto Lorde into the sky.

They had seen him dodge every attack like air itself.

They had watched him redirect a Captain-level Cero like it was nothing.

One member whispered, "Is this the boy genius they've been talking about? This... this is the new Second Division vice-captain?! He's terrifying!"

"My God," another said, "his dodging made my scalp tingle... like watching a ghost."

"Do you realize that's a Vasto Lorde? Stronger than most Captains. And it can't even scratch him?!"

Ise Nanao was watching too. After confirming that Kyoraku Shunsui would survive, she had turned her focus to Su Li. And everything that followed left her stunned.

She had heard whispers of Su Li's reputation—but aside from his performance in the graduation exam, she knew very little. Now, watching him battle the Vasto Lorde in real time, she was overwhelmed.

This boy was beyond anything the Eighth Division had on record.

She made a mental note.

When she returned, she would begin compiling a classified database—on Su Li alone.

She didn't know if her captain—Su Li's senior—would approve.

She glanced at the unconscious Kyoraku Shunsui resting on her lap, and sighed helplessly.
