It was a barren world.
No trees, no water, no wind, no anything.
Not even Life.
Not a single life form existed on this planet.
Until one day something amazing happened.
A man was suddenly born out of thin air as if the heavens created him.
The man was a handsome middle aged man with black hair and black eyes with domineering light.
He looked around and noticed that it was just himself in this lonely world.
Thus for hundreds of years he alone created things to satiate his boredom.
Trees were created.
Water was formed which made oceans and lakes and ponds.
Wind was created which gave birth to rustling of the leaves.
He created many other things but he could never create the thing closest to him.
..Life.
It seemed despite his mighty powers he was unable to create intelligent life forms as himself as the failures were turned into bugs.
Until one day when he was off doing things and maybe destroying things he felt something.
He went towards the spot where he felt it and perhaps it was a coincidence but other people seemed to appear out of thin air just like him.
There were females with stunning beauty and amazing bodies and also men with handsome features.
There were even people with heads of animals such as crocodiles, lions, etc..
He noticed them and went towards them as they too noticed him.
They all went towards him and looked around at each other and nodded.
They were born with great knowledge and already had the gist of it.
They knew the man in front of them was of much greater power than they.
Thus they called him the God king.. King of the gods.
And so the god race was born.
They soon began to fill the world with elements.
Many gods were different from others as some specialized in Frost dao while others specialized in Fire dao, water dao, wind dao, Darkness dao, Light dao, space dao, strength dao..etc..
The world started to look lively so they started to form their own pantheons of people who specialized in the same dao as them.
The stronger ones became the leaders while the weaker became the subordinates.
And thus the gods officially became the world's rulers…

"Huh? Where am I?" Mumbled a holy looking man with handsome looks.
The man had long white hair with golden eyes.
He had 2 wings behind his back alongside a halo floating above his ahead looking sacred.
His skin as white as Jade, he looked as holy as one could possibly get.
"This definitely isn't my world.." he looked around noticing many different things and then himself.
Especially his two wings which he never had before.
Suddenly he began getting the memories of the former body and understood.
"So I'm part of the god race and I specialize in holy dao or better known as the light attribute?" He mumbled going through his memories.
He realized that he ended up in a world before humans even existed and that the gods were the first born creatures.
He was now in the era after the chaos opened and now all the worlds should be like this.. At Least that's what he thinks.
They possessed amazing powers that could destroy mountains with a punch and overturn seas with a single thought.
Something that he could have never imagined before.
'According to my immense cultivation novels knowledge my senses tell me that this is for sure a cultivation type universe I'm in and secondly the heavenly dao doesn't exist which means.. once it does we are fucked.'
'Afterall the heavenly dao didn't create us so why would it like us? It will think of us as nothing more than leeches and would want to destroy us. Thankfully we possess amazing powers so it won't be able to but it definitely won't be supporting us.'
He racked his brains thinking of the possibilities that lay ahead, with his extensive novel knowledge he knew that the future he and his fellow gods were like fish on the chopping board since the Dao didn't like them. And according to those novels it's a pretty grim future for us.
However he could care less for the other gods as he only cares about himself for now and wants to get stronger to overcome what's to come.
He's not even in a pantheon either as the gods who specialize in the light Dao are way too few so it's pointless to start one.
So he's just inside his own little secret realm hidden somewhere in the void.
"I guess my only option is to wait for the birth of the humans and increase my faith amongst them sigh~"
He knew that he can only wait until the humans are born as the only way to grow stronger is by faith which is from their knowledge they were born with.
"As long as I can spread myself I can grow stronger and become a venerable god, then perhaps I'll be more happy."
The ranking of gods are all different despite being born at the same time and all having immense power.
It goes like this:
-Lower God
-Intermediate God
-Greater God
-Venerable God
-King of Gods
Are there realms beyond the king of god? Perhaps, however there's no way of knowing currently and right now he is but a lower god.
It's also a good thing to note that there aren't a lot of Venerable gods, they are the ones in charge of the pantheons. While the king of gods sits on his throne inside the godly mountain.
They too want to grow stronger but they can't as there are no intelligent life forms to bring them faith so the best they can do is just collect treasures and fight amongst themselves.
"I guess for now until humans are born I'll collect treasures like a damn hoarder" He mumbled.
He put his plan in motion and left his secret realm which was located on top of a sacred mountain.
He deemed it fit for his secret realm as in his holy opinion the mountain was sacred and majestic along with beautiful nature.
On top of the mountain is a very wide area that's completely flat (thanks to a certain someone) which means he can bring people up here if he needs in the future as he can definitely fit a whole village or more.
He descended down the mountain and flew around the world collecting all sorts of immortal herbs and heavenly plants.
Not many gods bothered collecting them as they didn't bring any increase in strength.
At most they just decorate their palaces. So a lot is left out for the pickings.
'Hehe don't mind if I do!'
Sometimes when he was out collecting he ran into other gods who also wanted to collect treasures but managed to evade conflict by letting them have it.
"Sigh~ so weak!"
He managed to find some rare gemstones inside the deep ocean and seeds of rare trees that grow fruits.
Once he found plenty that could most likely fill his whole treasures up like a mountain he stopped and went back to wait for the birth of humans.

Thousands of years go by in a blink of an eye and soon the gods felt it.
The Heavenly Dao.
An entity more powerful than them which is the world itself who rejects their birth.
Angry at them for not being its creation.
However it cannot do anything but be angry as it can't directly kill us.
So it created the humans with infinite potential to somehow counter us.
Unfortunately for it however the humans who were just created are rather dull witted and don't know what to do.
Thus, the gods showed themselves with their amazing divine powers and managed to strike fear and awe inside the humans.
Many gods started to take control of tribes of humans to start gaining faith.
"I should also hurry and take some humans." Said a sacred young man with wings.
He is currently flying towards the humans so he can snatch a few and take them back to his mountain.
As soon as he got there he was greeted by tens of thousands of them, and an endless hoard.
And also thousands of gods taking them away for themselves.
The sacred man quickly went towards a group of 20 humans and made himself known as the Holy Light God and showed them his powers which made the show look of reverence and fear and they quickly kneeled and expressed their silliness to follow the mighty god.
"Sh*T this strikes my ego bad" He said feeling mighty as they called him a mighty god and kneeled at him.
"Very well! I'll take you towards my sacred mountain where you will form a village and pray to me every year with offerings." He didn't bother knowing what they said as he wrapped them in his divine power and took them whilst he was flying and quickly landed on his mountain.
He gave them instructions such as make houses or at least try to and start reproducing as he had ten men and ten women.
And he went back to his secret realm to watch and see what will happen in the future.

A/N: First Chapters are a little rushed/Sloppy but the second chapter will be more detailed so I can explain some things and whatnot. First chapters are always a bit bad after all.
