Chapter 4
We are currently inside a beautiful and airy room. If I'm not mistaken, outside the door it says Lady Office and that's surprising because Lady Office? What is that? Only a ladies' office? Tsh.
"Lady Igene." My companion bowed her head slightly when a woman came out of the door.
"What happened, Ethena?" The woman asked calmly.
If you look at her, I can tell she's in her mid-age but you wouldn't know it because she looks young and there's nothing on her face.
She looks good in her violet dress with long sleeves and it reaches below her knees. She sat on the swivel chair and rested both elbows on the table then smiled slightly at me.
I smiled back to her, showing my respect because she's older. I'm not like Auntie who has no respect. "G-Good day....." I tried to utter a word properly because I can feel my hands shaking in nervousness.
"Good day, what brings you here? From looking at you, you seem like new here?" She asked softly and glanced at my whole body.
I suddenly felt embarrassed. "A-Ahh, yeah. Long story but I am new h-here...." I wasn't sure about my answer yet.
I don't know what to do! Or what to say! "By the way, what is t-this place?" I asked softly.
They all looked at me and seemed very surprised by my question. I have an idea that this is a school but I'm not really sure! The students here are so weird! I can feel a strong aura inside this place. It seems like there's something, I don't know! Then it seems like something is moving behind me! That's it. It's weird here.
"Uh, this is a school." The beautiful smile of the woman next to me flashed. Who is this? "School?" I asked in surprise.
"....why does it seem so weird?" I asked further.
"Because everybody here has something unexpected, unbelievable and implausible. You look so naive." She said and leaned back in her swivel chair.
"Since you're here, I'll give you a form to sign then you can study here. Easy as that." She gave me a sweet smile. I didn't answer and tried to force what was happening into my brain. What was happening!? It happened so quickly! I didn't even know what happened!
She stooped up. "Wait, I'll get you a form." She said before entering the door she had left earlier. "Let's sit first before I'll explain everything, and before I introduced to you my beautiful name!" She said cheerfully and grabbed my wrist then pulled me to sit on the soft sofa on the right side of this room.
I didn't answer her and looked at her in surprise. She smiled first so her cute dimples appeared. "Maybe you've noticed the strong aura when you entered this school right? And that is because of those students power." She said calmly. I was taken aback. Power? What kind of power?
"Or should I say magic? Haha, different kind of power-magic exist in this school. And what is your magic?" She asked in surprise and grabbed both of my shoulders to turn me towards her.
"Come on! What's your magic? Or what do you possess? Is it something likable?" She asked one question after another.
I possessed demons. Joke.
"I possessed nothing." I said. It's true. I don't even know what kind of power I have.
She was stunned. "Huh? How can you say?"
She asked incredulously.
"I don't have any powers or magic like that, okay?" I clarified.
She was serious. "But you can't enter here without a magic...." She said seriously.
"It's true! There really isn't one!" I said.
She seriously leaned back on the sofa and I watched her play with her lower lip with her index finger. She seemed to be thinking deeply so my forehead furrowed. Didn't she believe what I was saying.
"Based on what I know, the school is quite good, because it doesn't let people enter here without possessing any magics or abilities. Unless..." She slowly turned to me.
"Unless what?" I asked in surprise. This was scary. "Unless you haven't discovered it yet?" She asked in surprise. "I-I don't know...." I said softly.
"We can know what you possessed after meeting my father... by the way, I am Ethena Griffel, I am the one and only princess of Thunder Kingdom." A smile spread across his lips. I didn't know what to say so I just nodded.
I didn't even have a chance to ask her if what she was saying was true or not because the lady she had called Igene earlier had already left the door.
She immediately smiled. "Here's your form, give it to me after you signed it." I took it from her and read it.
Apart from the signature, there was nothing else in it.
"You should be here at the exact time of 7:30 P.M, I'll give you your needs. Also your uniform." She said. "Y-yes." I just said it.
We went out and now there were no students scattered around unlike when we entered here. It was too crowded, even toxic because of their whispers. There was only silence between the two of us as we walked.
I didn't know how to ask her if it was true that she said she was the princess of lightning. I won't believe unless she shows me. I looked at her. Her face was gentle and obviously kind. Like I said earlier, she looked like a princess because of the way she acted and spoke.
It was obvious that there was something different about her. I let out a heavy sigh.
"Does magic really exist?" I asked. She looked at me so I looked away. "Hmm? Of course, it does! Do you want me to show you what is mine?" She asked.
I smiled then nodded. "Sure!" "Let's go to a safe place." She said and held my hand. In the blink of an eye, we are already standing on a clear place. I mean, no people, no thing, just a white wall and a big space.
"Where are we?" I asked.
"How did we get here?!" I exclaimed and looked around the whole place! Damn it! I really believe it. "That's one of my abilities, teleportation." She winked at me. I was stunned.
She went to the middle of that room. Her back was slightly turned to me so I didn't know what she was doing. She slowly raised her hand in the air. My eyes widened as she suddenly floated, with lightning bolts shooting out around her.
I watched her come down from floating. She faced me while smiling. She walked towards me while playing with the small round lightning bolt on her palm.
I was stunned. "Now I believe...." I whispered.
"Tsh," I turned to where that voice came from.
My eyes found a man lying on top of the, water!?
I was even more stunned as I looked at him. His eyes were closed and he was leaning on his right arm and he was slightly tilted towards us. I looked at Ethena and her expression was also filled with surprise, the lightning bolts around and on her palm gradually disappeared.
"Eithan? What are you doing here? You didn't attend our class." Ethena smiled at the man. I just looked at her and realized that Ethena was already next to me and was waiting for the man's answer.
"I came here to sleep and....." He cut off what he was going to say and opened her eyes, I almost jumped in shock when her gaze immediately met mine.
".....you just disturb me by showing your magic to the lady standing beside you." She continued and looked straight into my eyes.
"Oh, right. She's new here and she doesn't believe in magic so I showed her what is mine." Athena smiled.
I avoided looking at the man and just looked down. "Why did you sleep here instead in your house?" Athena's eyebrows raised.
I looked at the man again. He glanced at me for a moment before closing his eyes. I swallowed nervously. Why do I get nervous when his eyes and mine met? Damn!
"This place is peaceful and I thought no one is able to enter here without the permission of the lady." He said, "But you just interrupt me."
He opened his eyes again and hit me again. "Isn't it rude, lady?" he asked me.
I gulped. "I don't think so."
Eithan POV
I was peacefully sleeping here when this two ladies came out from nowhere and do something stupid that just interrupt my sleep.
Here is Ethena and the other girl standing beside her. I can't take my eyes off her because she reminds me someone. From her hairstyles and her clothes.
She's a mortal.....
Fuck this memories.
I almost hissed Ethena when she started to looked at me with her teasing eyes. My left brow arched.
"Are you teasing me?" I asked her through our mind.
One of our power is we can communicate with our minds, that's how we born as a royal blood.
"Woah, I am not! But if you're teased, then congrats! Your advance!" She smirked at me.
"It's not funny." I said in a serious tone.
"I am not making it funny, though." Ganti niya.
"I don't think so."
"Hmm? Why?" I asked and sit on my bed that I made with my power which is water.
"It's not our intention to disturb you from sleeping, she just need to show me something I am not believing, but if your disturb, I'm sorry." She said, sincerely.
"I can feel a strong aura from her. Feel it too?" She asked me.
"Yeah."
"Do you believe now?" I asked her. Why does she look so nervous? Am I that scary?
"Yes," She bit her lower lips.
I slightly tilted my head. "Okay." As I get down from my bed and snap my finger then the bed disappear.
I looked at my watch and my eyes widened when I realized what time is it. The students must be home now. It's already 5:35, I was about to attend the last subject when I didn't noticed the time.
"Take her to her dorm, it's already 5, she need a rest." I said before I turned my back to them and used my teleportation to go home.
I am the prince of water and I have my own house, unlike the other royalties, they lived in one room and they're so noisy. I can't believe Zyen doesn't do anything to make them be silent even just for a day!
How can he stand them?
But sometimes, I'll go there to drink when one of us want to do a party. We'll go, they'll surely kill me when I don't go.
I just entered my room and sleep again. And here's my sadness again, because of her.
Why can't I just forget everything about her? Why can't I just lived without our memories together?
Why do she needs to love me before she go? Why does she need to smiled at me when she's in pain!?
Why do they need to kill her Infront of me?!
Feion POV
"That's Eithan Kyson Chandler, second prince of Water Kingdom. One of the coldest man I know, hihi. But he has a sad past because....." She just smiled and then suddenly became sad.
We were currently walking through this tall building on our way to my room. He told me who the man was earlier, she told me some information regarding his powers and I don't know why he needed to tell me that.
We're not even that close for pete's sake! "Ahh, it seems he has a sad past. He's obviously cold, the way he's looking at me...." I said sadly.
She stopped in front of a room so I stopped walking too. Is this my room? Do I have a roommate? Is it a girl or a boy? How many of us are here? What if- I was stopped in my thoughts when he suddenly asked, which surprised me.
"You have a crush on Eithan?"
