Chosen by a god. Promised power. Told to become a hero. But behind his calm acceptance, he hides a silent rebellion. After a life of being controlled — by parents, teachers, even his best friend — he’s had enough. When a god grants him unimaginable power and commands him to obey, he smiles… and lies. With his unique gifts, Creation Magic and Image Magic, he does the unthinkable: He creates a spell to seal the god. Then he consumes him. Now reborn with the power of a divine being, he enters a new world — not as a hero, but as a god of his own making. And this time, no one will ever control him again.

Chapter 1: The Chosen Lie

Light.

It swallowed everything.

His vision. His body. His very breath.

One moment he was human — nameless, tired, small — and the next, he stood in a realm of stars and silence, floating between creation and nothingness.

Before him: a god.

Towering. Radiant. Cloaked in robes that shimmered with galaxies. Its voice echoed without sound, pressing into his thoughts like thunder whispered in reverse.

"You have been chosen."

The boy blinked, confused. His mouth was dry. His heart, heavy.

"You will be reborn in a world that needs you. You will carry a piece of my power. A gift. Be the hero. Be my will."

A pause.

A heartbeat.

A small flicker of something cold inside him.

"Yes," the boy said quietly, head bowed. "I'll do whatever you say."

The god smiled.

But beneath his skin, the boy lied.

He had always obeyed.

His parents made his choices for him.

His teachers told him who to be.

Even his best friend, who smiled and said "trust me", had manipulated him — used him, discarded him.

Everyone wanted to control him.

Now even a god did.

But this time, he would play along. Until it was too late.

The god raised a hand. Two powers poured into the boy's soul like divine fire.

Creation Magic — the ability to craft reality.

Imagined Magic — the power to bring thought to life.

"With these," the god said, "you shall shape a better world. My world."

The light surged.

"Go forth. Become the flame of justice—"

But the boy opened his eyes with a different gaze.

And spoke softly:

"No."

The god hesitated.

"What?"

"I won't be your puppet."

The boy's voice no longer shook. It cut like a blade.

"I imagined the chains you'd put on me. So I imagined how to break them."

The god moved — too late.

With a gesture, the boy invoked a spell that had never existed:

Image Magic: God-Sealing Mirror.

Reality twisted. The god's body shattered into fragments of starlight, locked inside a prison of thought and power.

Then the boy raised both hands, Creation and Image Magic intertwining, and devoured the sealed fragments.

He consumed the god.

And in that moment... he became one.

Now, standing on the edge of a new world — not as a hero, not as a slave, but as something entirely new — he whispered to the void:

"You wanted a savior."

"You got a god instead."
