Aryan's mood improved. He is happy now and just waiting for the President's call.
"I don't know if the President will pass my bill?"
It is true that after passing the Cabinet and Parliament, his bill is eligible to reach the President's table. But the President also has the power.
If he thinks the bill is harmful to the country, he can reject it.
"No worries... If it gets rejected once, I will raise it again in Parliament. If it gets rejected again, I will still bring it up. The Constitution of India doesn't state that I can only present the same bill in Parliament once..."
Aryan is not worried about failing in Parliament or the cabinet. If he is worried, then it is at the President's table.
Ringing~ Ringing~!
Suddenly, the telephone rang.
Aryan could tell it was the President calling. So he cleared his throat first. Then, receive the phone. And just as he was about to say something, he heard a voice from the other end of the phone.
"Aryan. I just signed your Industrial Licensing Amendment, 1990 Bill. Congratulations on your first step."
The President's calm voice came from the other end of the phone.
Aryan smiled silently and said, "Thank you, sir."
He remained silent for a while and then decided to inform the President about Assam and Nagaland.
"However, there is more good news that you should be aware of..."
"From today, there is no more ULFA and NSCN. They are a thing of the past now. They were the roadblocks to India's progress. But now, 100% destruction. Last night, we launched [Operation Trinetra] in Assam and Nagaland. We destroyed all the top commanders and their secret base in one night. There was no civilian loss there."
After a moment of silence, the President asked: "You ended 20 years of nightmares in one night?
"No, I just planned it. All the rest of the credit goes to those who participated in this operation. Who would have thought that what had been impossible for so many years with tanks would be achieved thanks to a radio wave tracking device..."
Aryan fell silent as he spoke.
A few seconds later, the President's emotional voice came out, "History will not believe that what was impossible for so many years became possible overnight... Maybe this is why America and the USSR developed so quickly... That's why they gave more importance to science..."
"Yes~!" Aryan agreed in a low voice.
. . . . .
"Hitesh~!" After hanging up the call, Aryan called his chief of staff.
Walk~ walk~!
Footsteps sounded, and Hitesh entered Aryan's office.
"Sir!"
"Tell Minister Ramesh to hold a press conference and tell the entire country about their victory..." Aryan slowly gave the order.
"Sir...Sir, you mean the bill has been passed?" Hitesh's eyes sparkled with excitement.
"Hmm, yes, our future win!"
"Congratulations, sir~ Congratulations." Hitesh hurriedly congratulated Aryan.
Aryan shook and said, "Tell Ramesh to congratulate the countrymen."

An hour later, all the high-level officers and leaders learned of the passing of the Industrial Licensing Amendment Bill 1990.
In the evening!
All India Radio and Doordarshan are broadcasting.
Minister of Industry and Commerce Ramesh Verma proudly announced the passage of the Industrial License Amendment in 1990.
"My fellow countryman."
"I would like to congratulate those who are planning to open their own businesses. Today is a historic day for India. Today, we have passed the Industrial Licensing Amendment Bill from the President's table."
"Today is not just the end of a law—— today is the end of fear, of red tape, of government babus, and of what is your own."
"For forty years, we've asked you to stand in line and wait for approval. For forty years, we've asked you to prove your capabilities before you can start anything. But not now, not today. From today, everything will change."
"You no longer have to run around for licenses. The Indian government has introduced a single window system. You have to apply, and you can open your factory within two to three months."
"No longer does a farmer's son have to come to Delhi just to get a signature. No longer does a woman have to be blocked by countless forms and files while opening a small business. India is open for him, so India is open for her."
"We have withdrawn all licenses for you to open industries outside the city. You decide where to build, what to build, and how to grow."
"One window, one file, one answer, but no harassment."
"From today, we have changed from job seekers to job creators."
"We will protect your small business from the big whales."
"You are not alone."
"We will help you with credit, with tech, and with training. Because your factory is not just a building for our country, your factory is a family, a future, and a source from which food comes to our table."
"Jai Hind!"
Ramesh finished his speech and stepped back while Aryan came forward to the media. Aryan first looked at all the media in front of him and began his speech:
"What you've been hearing for so long is how India's economic policy will change."
"Now tell me about your heart."
"For so long, we have been telling our children: Stay safe, don't take any risks, wait for permission...but you have forgotten that India was not built by those who waited."
"So today, I'm going to make a personal, profound announcement:"
"I, Aryan Sen Gupta, the current Prime Minister of the Republic of India, appeal to all that the Indian government will stand with all the industries that dare to set up their factories in the poor districts!"
"If you build a village, we will build roads for you."
"If you build a factory, we will build schools and clinics beside it."
"If you put lamps on the roads, we will provide electricity."
"If industries set up their units in rural and backward areas and invest in the welfare of the people there (health, schools, roads, pollution, etc.), then they will receive 100% tax relief on their profits for five years."
"This is not charity. It is our nation-building partnership."
"Because our India will not rise only with steel and cement... but with the power of its people."
"If you build India with your hands, we will reward you with our hands."
"Let the world see...India did not grow at the cost of its people, but India grew with them."
"We have 800+ million people with 800+ million ideas."
"If you have an idea, we have a place for it."
"If you have hope, we have a path for it."
"And if you have nothing...then build it with your own hands. We are always behind you."
"I have opened the gate for you. Now walk through it and take the entire nation with you."
"Jai Hind."
