Morning sunlight crept over Konoha, washing the rooftops and streets in soft gold. In the quiet training grounds just outside the village walls, Ren Uzumaki stood alone, already warmed up and focused. The morning dew clung to the grass as the air buzzed softly with chakra.
As always, he was the first to arrive.
Minutes passed before Arata-sensei appeared, his tall frame casting a long shadow as he approached with hands in his pockets and a calm expression.
"Early as usual, Ren," Arata said, giving a nod.
Ren bowed slightly. "Good morning, sensei. I wanted to speak with you about something... serious."
Arata raised an eyebrow but waited.
Ren inhaled slowly. "I've tested my chakra nature... I possess all five. Fire. Wind. Earth. Water. Lightning."
For a moment, Arata said nothing — his usually composed face flickered with something close to surprise.
"All five?"
Ren nodded. "I haven't told anyone else. Only my brother knows. I've been focusing on Fire and Wind, but... I want to begin training the others. Properly. I need your guidance."
Arata crossed his arms and studied him. "That's not something to take lightly. Most jōnin don't even master three."
"I know. But I'm not rushing. I just want to start walking the path. I'm asking not just as your student — but as someone serious about becoming stronger."
Arata was quiet for a while. Then he gave a faint nod.
"Alright, Ren. I'll help you. But you'll have to be patient. You'll need tailored training — and a plan for each element."
Ren gave a rare, genuine smile. "Thank you, sensei. I'll handle the patience."
As the morning sun rose higher, Ren's training day officially began. Not just as a genin of Team 1 — but as someone preparing to walk the path of a true elemental master.
Late morning came, and the rest of Team 1 was deep into their routine.
Kenji was setting up chakra-threaded traps along a training course, while Aika knelt quietly with her eyes closed, honing her sensory skills by tracking faint chakra movements in the wind. They both moved with increasing focus and confidence — the rhythm of teamwork beginning to settle.
Meanwhile, at the edge of the training field, Arata stood beside Ren, explaining the deeper theory behind elemental nature transformations.
"Earth is stability," Arata explained, drawing a rough diagram in the dirt. "It strengthens and reinforces. Defensive, powerful, unyielding."
He continued with Water.
"Water is adaptation — flowing around obstacles, striking from angles. It's deceptive and versatile."
Then Lightning.
"Lightning is about speed, piercing power, and precision. It's unstable without control. Dangerous, even to the user."
Ren listened closely, taking mental notes.
"And your affinity, sensei?" he asked.
Arata smiled faintly. "Wind and Earth. I use them in tandem. Wind to disrupt, Earth to trap. That's how I break formations."
Ren nodded in quiet respect. "That fits your style. Strategic. Controlled."
"And yours?" Arata asked.
Ren met his sensei's eyes. "Mine... is yet to be fully defined."
Arata smiled. "Then let's start shaping it."
As Kenji and Aika continued their sparring under the afternoon sun, Ren stood a little taller.
This was more than chakra training — it was legacy in motion.
