Ren sat alone on the edge of the Hokage Monument, the breeze brushing his hair back as he stared up at the moonlit sky. The village below shimmered in quiet stillness. In his hand, a small note with instructions from the Hokage — vague, cryptic even.
"The Rasengan... I didn't think he'd mention that so early."
Ren folded the note and tucked it away.
"It's not like I don't know what it is. I know exactly what it is — chakra manipulation in its purest form, compressed rotation without hand signs. High-level. Dangerous."
He leaned back, resting on his hands.
"That's supposed to be something Naruto learns from Jiraiya in the future. It becomes his signature... his thing."
His brow furrowed.
"Should I teach it to him early? Would that help him, or take something from him?"
The weight of the question settled on his shoulders.
"It's hard enough trying to stay two steps ahead. I've already got five chakra natures to worry about, elemental fusion on my list, and now this."
Ren let out a sigh and looked at the stars.
"I can do it. I will do it. But teaching it to Naruto... maybe not yet. He needs to grow into it — like he always does."
He stood slowly.
"This is going to stress me out..."
He stretched his arms behind his head, allowing himself a small, tired smile.
"But I wouldn't trade it for anything."
Ren turned and began his walk home, the idea of spiraling chakra still echoing in his thoughts — a technique born from legacy, now passed to him in silence.
