All three males smiled happily at her decision. However, Ximena was still a little nervous about the whole thing. It was a lot to take in and she needed to think things over properly.
However, it was also getting late. They needed to sort out a place to stay while she went through everything.
"My apartment is a little small. I can sleep with Nikolas in his room, but you'll have to decide among yourselves who takes my room and the couch." Ximena said, trying to sort out where everyone would sleep. "Unless you plan to stay somewhere else?"
The three males looked at each other for a moment, like they were having a silent conversation among themselves. They were quiet for some time before Ivan turned to look at Ximena.
"We were thinking of maybe staying in the city unless the test results come out. It'll be neutral territory for all of us and we… already have a place there." Ivan explained.
Ximena frowned. It wasn't like she hadn't been planning on moving into the city. But not right now. She had a life here and things to take care of.
Besides, moving in with three males, even if they were her mates, was nerve wracking. Things were moving a little too fast for her. Perhaps, it was her fault for suggesting they stay with her.
She really wasn't thinking properly.
Lucas seemed to sense this. "It's getting late and Ximena should have time to process everything. We are asking her to move her life for us after all. We can make decisions tomorrow morning."
"Thanks… I should get the air mattress and some blankets-" Ximena said, getting up when Lucas caught her wrist, stopping her.
"Hold on…" Lucas said as he let go of her wrist. "I don't need to sleep so just stay in your room. These two can make do with the couch."
"Are you sure?" Ximena asked, wondering how the hell they were going to fit on the couch.
The couch barely seemed big enough to fit one of them on it comfortably. Let alone two of them on the couch. Would they really be able to manage with just the couch?
"It's really fine." Ivan answered. "A few nights on a couch won't hurt us."
"Alright." Ximena nodded in understanding. "I'll be heading off to bed then… um… feel free to use the kitchen and make yourselves something if you're hungry. Oh… and the bathroom's to the right."
"Got it hun." Seb drawled. "Sweet dreams."
"You too." Ximena said before heading off to Nioklas's room.
She placed a kiss on her baby's forehead, wishing him sweet dreams before heading off to her room. Thankfully, Freya had bathed him earlier so she didn't need to disturb his sleep.
When she got to her room, she closed the door and quickly grabbed a pair of shorts and a crop top. Ximena then headed for the bathroom, stripping from her work clothes after letting the bath run.
She then stepped into the half fill bath, letting the hot water relieve her aching muscles and weary mind. She had been in her human form for longer than she had planned so letting out her tail helped her to relax even more.
Ximena soon found herself dozing off, but she didn't worry about it. Resting in some water was what she needed after a long day. Especially after learning about everything.

When Ximena opened her eyes, sunlight was streaming through the tinted window of the bathroom. The bath water had turned cold but Ximena still felt refreshed. Being in the water all night had really helped her.
After lounging around for a few minutes, Ximena finally got out, putting on her crop top and shorts. She then headed out her room, going straight to Nikolas's room.
When she entered the room, she found Lucas leaning over her son's cot, waving a shark doll around. Nikolas, meanwhile, was sitting up, giggling as Lucas waved the doll around him.
Upon hearing her enter, Lucas looked up, quickly dropping the doll next to Nikolas before straightening up. He then said with a blank look, "Morning."
"Morning." Ximena greeted back, hurrying over to Nikolas.
She swiftly picked him up, cradling him in her arms. She then looked over at Lucas who was staring down at her. She felt so small standing next to him which felt strange. She was used to being the taller one around.
She turned away, looking at her son who was playing with some strands of her hair. "You hungry baby?"
"Ga!" Nikolas answered, whacking a small hand on her face.
"Okay. Let's have some breakfast." Ximena smiled. She then looked at Lucas. "Are… you hungry?"
Lucas smiled at her softly. "I don't need to eat, darling. At least for a while."
His eyes moved to her neck and Ximena quickly realized what he meant. She felt heat rush up to her face and turned away, heading for the door.
"Okay… Well, I'm going to give Nikolas some breakfast." Ximena said, heading out the room as quickly as she could.
As she passed the living room, she found Ivan sitting on the couch with a laptop. Her coffee table had been moved to the corner of the room, a large, black wolf sleeping on her blue rug. Ximena guessed it was Seb in his wolf form.
It suddenly made sense why they were okay with just the couch. Although, she did feel a little guilty about letting Seb sleep on the cold, wooden floors.
Seeing the wolf, Nikolas suddenly cried out, "Doggie!"
He began squirming in Ximena's arms, trying to reach for Seb. Seb opened his eyes just as Nioklas yelled 'doggie' again.
"Nikolas no!" Ximena exclaimed in embarrassment, knowing that calling a werewolf a dog was an insult to them. "It's not a doggie. That's a wolf. Wolffie."
"Doggie!" Nikolas yelled, his upper lip trembling. "Doggie!"
Ximena felt heat rush into her face in embarrassment, trying to find a way to calm her son down before he started crying. Ivan took that moment to glance over at them.
He closed his laptop, placing it to the side and held his hand up, palm up. A burst of flames appeared before turning into a ball of fire.
Fortunately for Ximena, the bright flame distracted Nikolas. Ivan walked towards them, holding the ball out. Nikolas reached out for it but Ximena looked at it nervously, taking a step back.
"It won't burn him." Ivan promised, holding out his other hand to take Nikolas. "I have a layer of air containing the fire."
"Dragons use this trick a lot to distract their children." Lucas added, appearing behind her. "Ivan's been practicing this trick and had Seb tested it beforehand, so he won't be burnt."
Ximena hesitated for a moment before handing Nikolas over to Ivan. Nikolas giggled and squealed as he and Ivan played with the ball of fire.
"I'm going to make breakfast while you play with Nikolas." Ximena said before adding, "Do you want anything?"
Ivan looked at her. "Coffee and whatever you're making is fine."
"Lucas and I can help with breakfast." Seb said, appearing from behind Ivan.
Unlike the other two who were still in their suits, Seb wore nothing but a pair of grey sweatpants which hung low on his waist. Ximena felt her mouth go dry as she stared at his well toned body and abs.
"Where did the pants come from?" Ximena asked as they all headed for the kitchen.
"Overnight bag. Had one in my car." Seb answered. "Suits aren't my thing, but those two wanted all of us to wear one when meeting you."
"It's better than being half naked." Ivan growled as he took a seat by the island before sitting Nikolas on the countertop. "You'd just look like a creep wandering around in sweatpants."
A hot creep. Ximena thought to herself before shaking her head at the thought.
Lucas meanwhile, laughed at the comment while Seb glared at Ivan who was smirking back at him. Ximena watched the scene before her and smiled, feeling happy for some reason.
Perhaps getting to know them wouldn't be so bad.
