In a narrow alley dimly lit by flickering neon, a young man sat with his back against the wall. His body was bruised and bloodstained, and in his hand, he gripped a wrinkled sheet of paper — a Sin Contract.
"You carry the burden of someone else's sin… and you must be the one to pay it."
The voice echoed in his head just the night before.
Han Jiwoon, a 20-year-old who once lived an ordinary life working night shifts to care for his sick mother, found everything he had burned to ashes.
His home — destroyed.
His mother — gone in the fire.
No one knew why.
Except for the black envelope that fell before him that night…
And the chilling message inside:
"You are now bound to the Debt of Sin."
System: Sin Contract
From the moment he signed it, Han Jiwoon became a player in the Sin System.
Each night, he receives an Assigned Sin — a target bound by a karmic debt.
If he succeeds → He gains Sin Points, which can be used to restore memories, unlock abilities, or reduce his debt.
If he fails → He loses something: a memory, a skill, or a part of himself.
Upon reaching 1,000 points, he will learn the identity of the Original Sinner — the one whose debt he's carrying — and must choose: forgiveness or execution.
That night, his first mission brought him to an abandoned apartment complex.
"Target: Jang Hyunsik — a former politician responsible for the massacre of hundreds during a dam construction project. Now hiding in another identity."
From the shadows, Han Jiwoon watched.
No fear.
No hesitation.
The system whispered:
"Purge the sin… or be consumed by it."
He finished the job without emotion.
Walking past a broken mirror, he caught his reflection — golden light flickered faintly in his eyes.
They were no longer the eyes of a normal human.
"I will hunt them all… even if I lose what's left of myself."
