"You're lying!" Cassandra exclaimed, snatching Arthur's phone from the table. Her perfectly manicured nails frantically scrolled through the screen, her face growing paler by the second.
I watched as the blood drained from her face. Whatever she was seeing confirmed Arthur's words.
"This can't be right," she muttered, then thrust the phone at Caleb. "Check your own accounts. There must be some mistake."
Caleb pulled out his phone, his fingers moving quickly across the screen. The color drained from his face as well, matching his mother's horrified expression.
"It's everywhere," he said, voice hollow. "Trending nationwide."
Fiona stood frozen, her eyes darting between them. "What? What are you looking at?"
No one answered her. The silence in the room was suffocating.
"Show me!" she demanded, reaching for Caleb's phone.
