Synopsis
They were warriors born of starlight and storm—seven champions who rose against godlike invaders in a battle that shook the earth and cracked the heavens. But in their final stand, their power grew beyond imagination. Together, their energy scorched mountains, turned oceans to steam, and split the skies with molten rage. They won the war... But lost the world they swore to protect. Cursed with immortality and blessed with terrifying, earth-shaking power, they became walking cataclysms. Just their presence could melt the ground beneath their feet and ignite cities with a single breath. To prevent another apocalypse, they made a solemn pact: > “We will seal away our powers and vanish across the ages. For 5,000 years, we will walk alone—until the world is ready... or we are forgotten.” They scattered across the globe, living countless lives through empires, eras, and extinctions. But the price of their exile was heavy—the very echo of their unleashed power left scars on the world: earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions—the lingering aftermath of gods who dared to exist. Now, in the 21st century, the seal is broken. A pulse of celestial energy escapes into the modern world—possessing storms, toppling cities, awakening memories. As chaos returns, the immortals begin to remember. Their exile is ending. The world teeters on the edge of ruin, and the only hope may lie in their reunion. But with every step they take back toward each other, the balance frays further. They must reclaim their power... But the question remains: > Will they save the world? Chapter 1 - The Seal Beneath The Sands [The First Wonder]

---

The midday sun beat down relentlessly on the endless desert, casting a hazy glow over the great Pyramids of Giza. The air shimmered with heat, and the ancient stones, worn by time, stood silently—guardians of secrets buried deep beneath their weathered surface.

A team of elite archaeologists and explorers from around the world had gathered at the base of the pyramid, gathered not for the usual quest of unraveling history, but for a different kind of discovery. Dr. Aidan Matthews, the lead archaeologist, wiped his brow, squinting into the sun as he stared at the coordinates on his tablet.

"Right here," he muttered, adjusting his thick glasses. "The tomb isn't supposed to be this far from the known burial chambers. This... doesn't make sense."

His fingers brushed across the tablet screen, tracing the digital map that had led them to this uncharted part of the Giza Plateau, a place untouched by modern excavation. The government had funded the project in secret, promising groundbreaking revelations—an offer no one in the archaeological community could resist.

Behind him, a dozen other experts—scientists, archaeologists, and engineers—worked to set up equipment. Lena Zhang, the geologist, was pacing nervously by the massive stone blocks they had uncovered, while Javier Silva, a former military engineer, oversaw the removal of debris.

The team had been digging for days, and now they were standing on the brink of discovery. The deeper they dug, the more they uncovered an odd material beneath the stone—an unnatural sheen to the earth that hummed with strange, unexplained energy. The pyramid's history was vast, but no one had ever spoken of a hidden chamber deep within its foundation. Yet the readings they were getting were undeniable.

Lena squatted down, brushing sand away from a peculiar stone slab. Her fingers skimmed the edge, and she immediately recoiled, startled by the sudden chill that ran through her. Her breath caught in her throat.

"Aidan... there's something here," she whispered, her voice trembling.

Aidan turned quickly, but the moment his eyes landed on the stone, his pulse quickened. The slab wasn't like any other they'd encountered. It was etched with unfamiliar symbols—glowing faintly, pulsing with an eerie light, as though alive. The patterns seemed to shimmer and shift when he focused on them. His heart skipped a beat as he recognized one of the symbols: the same glyphs they'd seen in ancient texts describing the old gods—beings of immense power, beings who could bring both creation and destruction.

"This is... this is impossible," Aidan whispered, taking a step back.

> "These symbols... They're not just Egyptian. They're from cultures that never met, from gods that didn't exist. At least, not in any human record."

Dust still hung in the air, thick like fog, as Aidan Matthews stood frozen near the glowing chasm. He clutched his headset, voice tight with urgency.

> "This is Matthews. I need full excavation teams down here now. Bring every tool—plasma saws, seismic lifters, containment gear. Bring the linguists too. We just found something beneath the main tomb… something impossible."

Lena, still shaken, sat against the stone wall, rubbing her wrist. Around them, the chamber hummed with residual energy. A faint golden mist coiled along the floor like living smoke.

Within twenty minutes, the team descended—ten engineers, tech experts, and scientists, all staring wide-eyed at the fractured seal. The air felt thick, like it was charged with static. As they set up halogen lamps, cables, and scanners, the symbols on the stone began to glow brighter.

Javier approached Aidan, frowning. "You sure we should be doing this?"

Aidan nodded grimly. "If this is what I think it is... we don't have a choice. This isn't just history—it's power. It's waking up."

His voice trailed off as Lena pulled out a small device and began scanning the stone. Her eyes widened in disbelief.

"That's not just stone," she said, her voice strained. "The material... it's... it's vibrating. And the readings—"

Before she could finish, a loud crack split the air, and the ground beneath their feet trembled. A force, unseen but undeniable, surged through the earth, rattling their equipment. Dust rose from the cracks in the stone, and the slab began to shift—slowly, grinding against the ancient bedrock, as though something inside was waking.

"Get back! Move!" Aidan shouted, but it was too late.

With a violent tremor, the stone exploded outward in a burst of white-hot light. A deep, guttural sound, like a thousand voices whispering in an ancient language, filled the air, reverberating through the stone and soil. The explorers stumbled back as the earth seemed to shake beneath them, and the ground began to crack wide open.

Lena screamed, her feet slipping as the surface below her crumbled. Aidan lunged forward to grab her arm, but the force of the shockwave sent them both crashing to the sand.

The stone slab shattered, revealing a vast, dark void beneath, the edges of which glowed with an ominous light. From the depths, something stirred—a power that was both terrifying and awe-inspiring. The air crackled as the faintest hum of energy echoed from the depths, and they could feel the temperature rising—the air was becoming charged, hot, as though the earth itself had just come alive.

"Get out of here!" Javier's voice came over the comms, but Aidan didn't move. His eyes were locked on the blackness, on the swirling, pulsating glow that beckoned from beneath.

---

Without warning, a massive chunk of ceiling stone split free from above, plunging down like a guillotine. A scream rang out—two workers sprinted for cover as the slab crashed onto their equipment, shattering it and sending shards flying.

Dust exploded into the air. Someone yelled over the radio, "We've got injuries! Two down! Blood everywhere—we need medics!"

Lena ran to help, dragging one man out from under a collapsed table. His leg was twisted at an unnatural angle, his eyes dazed.

Aidan looked upward, his stomach tightening. The seal's awakening was destabilizing the structure.

And yet… it was only beginning.

Because even as the team scrambled to regroup, the glow from the chamber intensified—light now pulsing in waves, as if responding to breath.

And then—he saw it.

A figure, barely visible in the light, as though shifting between worlds. It was a man—no, or perhaps a god long buried in myth—and Aidan could see the impossible glow of power emanating from his very form. His eyes blazed with energy, and his presence alone seemed to make the ground beneath him crack and boil. This being radiated ancient strength—an energy that could move mountains.

Before Aidan could react, the ground beneath them began to crumble faster, the world itself shaking with the immense power that had been sealed beneath the pyramid for millennia.

The room darkened suddenly. The halogen lights flickered, then died.

Silence fell.

Then came the pulse.

> BOOM.

A thunderous shockwave of energy exploded outward from the broken seal, rippling through stone and metal. The air trembled. Sparks flew from the broken scanners. Lenses shattered. People were thrown backward like leaves in a gale.

But no one could take their eyes off what happened next.

From within the broken seal, a blinding arc of celestial light tore upward, spiraling like a sentient storm. It twisted through the chamber, passed through solid stone like mist, then shot upward through the ground—through the layers of the pyramid, through centuries of buried history—and into the open air above.

A sonic boom echoed across the desert sky.

Outside, tourists, security officers, and drones all stopped as the heavens split open in a swirl of blue and white light. The energy shot into the clouds—then vanished.

Back below, Aidan collapsed onto his knees, stunned, sweat dripping down his temple. His chest rose and fell rapidly as Lena leaned in beside him.

And then, as quickly as it had begun, the vibrations ceased. The glow dimmed. Silence.

Aidan's heart pounded in his chest.

What had they just unleashed?
