"Oh, you're talking about Abomination, right?"
Hearing Nick Fury's words, Mo immediately recalled the plot of *The Incredible Hulk*: "The soldier named Blonsky, who, after witnessing the Hulk's power, suddenly decided he didn't want to be human anymore..."
"You sure know a lot,"
Nick Fury gave Mo a deep look. As someone who keeps many secrets, Fury really didn't like dealing with someone like Mo, who seemed to know *everything*.
He even had the unsettling feeling that Mo might know he was secretly studying the Tesseract.
"I don't think the military can take down that monster,"
And, almost as if to confirm Fury's suspicions, Mo spoke again: "Your gear here is way more advanced than the military's. Are you really planning not to help them clean up the mess?"
"...The military is currently drawing up a plan,"
Nick Fury shot Mo a silent glance: "Their preliminary plan is to release the Hulk to fight this newly-emerged monster—what you called Abomination. But honestly, I really don't trust those military idiots."
"If the military fails, can I step in?"
Mo asked with a smile: "You're still reluctant to use those energy weapons, aren't you?"
"So you *do* know about that!"
Nick Fury's gaze instantly sharpened. Some things he could overlook, but the Tesseract was far too important to him: "Who exactly are you? What's your purpose?"
"I told you, I'm just a Stand User."
Mo rolled his eyes: "If I *really* wanted the Space Stone, I would've tunneled underground to steal it by now, okay? You think I would still be standing here chatting with you?"
And he wasn't joking. While Mo didn't know S.H.I.E.L.D.'s base coordinates precisely, he had a minimap mod with a cave radar. With that, he could easily spot the massive underground lab Fury had built for the Tesseract if he got even remotely close.
"Space Stone? What's that?" Fury frowned. "Another name for the Tesseract?"
"You don't even trust me. Why should I tell you anything?"
Mo rolled his eyes again.
"If the situation spirals out of control, I'll allow you to intervene, but the reason must be to prevent further civilian casualties," Nick Fury said. "However, in exchange, you must tell me everything you know about the Tesseract."
"The Tesseract's real name is the Space Stone... and objects as powerful as it are scattered across the universe. There are at least five more."
Mo clapped his hands: "Alright, that's all. By the way, looks like we're almost there—the fighting has already started."
At this point, the helicopter had arrived near Broadway. Even from several blocks away, they could see flames shooting skyward. Panicked crowds flooded the streets, and gunfire and explosions echoed in the distance. Clearly, the military was engaging something, but thick smoke obscured the view.
Suddenly, an armored vehicle flew out of the smoke and smashed into a storefront with a loud crash, causing fresh waves of panic.
"You said there are at least five more Space Stones out there in the universe?"
Fury frowned deeply: "Since you call it a 'Space Stone,' does that mean these stones have some kind of teleportation ability between them? Like portals? Could they attract alien attention..."
Before Nick Fury could finish, Mo had already vanished from his seat.
"Motherf—!"
Fury cursed out loud.
Mo wasn't about to waste time chatting when it was almost time for the boss fight.
Using his Ender Hand's teleportation ability, he left the helicopter and appeared on a nearby rooftop, now much closer to the battlefield.
Looking down, he saw chaos. People were fleeing in terror, screaming and crying. Vehicles were jammed chaotically in the streets. And not far away, a massive yellow-green figure slowly advanced, smashing everything in its path—cars, people, everything was shredded into pieces, turning the street into a scene straight out of hell.
Witnessing this firsthand, Mo realized that Abomination was even more brutal than in the movie.
Unlike Hulk's rage, Abomination displayed a pure, reckless cruelty. Soldiers and police fought desperately to stop him, but bullets only bounced off his skin with metallic *clinks*.
Mo watched as Abomination casually grabbed a soldier. With a slight squeeze at the waist, there was a sickening *rip* as he tore the man in half. Even more gruesomely, the soldier was still alive, struggling and screaming as blood and organs splattered everywhere. Abomination, instead of being disgusted, seemed delighted, flashing a savage grin.
This was the *real* Abomination—
A terrifying monster driven by a lust for destruction.
Two soldiers fired a rocket launcher at him. The missile whooshed toward Abomination, but he simply reached up and caught it midair. Clenching his hand, there was a massive explosion, but the flames quickly dissipated, revealing the monster unharmed.
"Hehehe..."
Abomination grinned cruelly at the soldiers and charged.
He was like a heavy armored vehicle barreling forward, sending debris and cars flying everywhere. The soldiers panicked and tried to drive their armored vehicle away, but Abomination wasn't even at full strength.
He was enjoying the pursuit like a cat playing with a mouse, savoring the overwhelming feeling of his own power.
Eventually, the soldiers' vehicle got stuck in a traffic jam.
Abomination grinned even more viciously. Stepping onto a nearby taxi, he smashed it flat, then lifted it above his head. Shouting at the military camera mounted on the armored vehicle, he roared:
"Bring me a stronger opponent!"
With that, he hurled the taxi straight at them.
However, at that very instant, a flash of purple light appeared.
"You sure about that?"
A voice rang out. The taxi that had been flying toward the soldiers suddenly froze midair.
Abomination was momentarily stunned—then the taxi reversed course and smashed directly into his face, the wheels grinding against him viciously.
And just as Abomination staggered from the impact, purple light bloomed, and a dark figure materialized in midair.
"A stronger opponent has arrived,"
Mo's calm voice echoed down the street.
