Aries got up in the morning and quickly threw his clothes on. It had been a few weeks since that…odd series of events. Today was the first day of the tournament. The Lord's Advent. He took a light jog to the stadium. It was in the middle of the city. He had heard a few things about it before when it started construction. But hadn't heard a thing since. It wasn't all too huge. But it was in a weird spot. Away from any of the big shot stores or restaurants. But in the middle of pretty much nowhere in the city, a place nobody goes.
As he arrived in front of the stadium building. He noticed the front was pretty run down looking. But there were crowds of people going out the front door. A man put his arm around his shoulder and ushered him to the side door.
"So, you're one of our special guests. Grey told me to come get you myself, what was your name, Aries? I think…cool name."
He looked at the man. He was tall and bulky with dirty blonde hair. His eyes covered by sunglasses with a toothy shark like grin.
"I hope you can entertain us today." Aries just looked at him silently for a few seconds before slightly grinning.
"I'll do my best. But…I have a question." The man looked at him. Slightly confused.
"And what's that?"
"Are you strong?"
"I'd say so. Yeah."
Aries swung a kick towards the man. The man blocked the kick with his arm with ease.
"Woah, kid. Save your energy for the fights." He pushed Aries off easily and tossed him in the building. As the man slammed the doors shut, he felt a throbbing in his forearm and rolled up his sleeve to find a large dark bruise where he had blocked the kick.
"What the hell…? What kind of kid did Grey recruit for this tournament…"
