Kishio could be seen in front of a small floating structure, it seemed to be one out of an apocalypse on the verge of collapsing. He steeled his resolve preparing himself for all outcomes as he summoned his black overcoat.
Making a small cut on his palm, he allowed a drop of his blood to fall to the ground, a weird disruption in space occurred and the next moment, Kishio vanished.
As Kishio appeared inside the dungeon, dark smoke-like aura began to seep out his body covering a range of about ten metres.
Dozens of dog-like creatures surrounded him. The moment death aura was activated they immediately began to crumble into pieces, small light blue crystals falling to the ground. He didn't even have the chance to see the enemy before it had crumbled.
He was only lucky he had decided to activate death aura immediately after teleporting.
Kishio looked around, there were still over fifty of the dog-like creatures.
They were around the same height as a dog with hollow eyes that appeared lost, sharp teeth protruding out of their mouth, their skin seemed to be peeling–on the verge of falling off making them appear undead.
Kishio glanced at his wrist as he recounted 'E rank boom bugs 76, D rank boom bugs 158, E rank silver ghosts 22,'.
"E rank silver ghosts 22?" Kishio blinked mildly surprised, they had all survived? He didn't have the time to be in thoughts though as the dog-like creatures were soon rushing towards him, he wasn't sure if death aura could hold them all off.
Summoning all the silver ghosts under his arsenal and ten E rank boom bugs, an onslaught immediately occurred.
In less than a few minutes, the entire wave had been cleared out.
Kishio commanded some silver ghosts to feast on F rank crystals in hopes of having them evolve.
'E rank boom bugs 66, D rank boom bugs 158, E rank silver ghosts 17, D rank silver ghosts 5' After the consumption of roughly seventy F-rank crystals, five of the silver ghosts underwent an evolution.
Kishio continued forward, it was an F rank dungeon, the dungeon's boss shouldn't be too far away, he had only advanced a few meters when he sensed another wave of the undead-like dogs, unwilling to bother himself, he simply summoned thirty E rank boom bugs and sent them forward. He wished to thin out his reserves of beats anyways, particularly getting rid of the weak ones.
–Boom–
A loud boom sound is heard accompanying it, a large dust cloud, after a short while, the dust cloud settled and multiple crystals could be seen all over the place with no beast left standing.
Kishio continued forward commanding the five D rank silver ghosts to devour the crystals.
"No evolution?" He muttered to himself surprised by how the five silver ghosts consumed dozens of crystals with no evolution.
How the beats under his control evolved was still very much a mystery to him, he didn't really mind it though, he wasn't really expecting the D rank silver ghosts to evolve that easily on F rank crystals.
Kishio had barely left the area when he sensed another wave incoming "How many of these things are here?" He muttered a question with a slight frown.
He couldn't imagine what would have happened if these beasts had gotten out, even if help was to come, with the beasts running out in various locations, killing them all would be difficult.
Even if he was to join the party, he could just send boom bugs to detonate outside, not in here…he was as free as a bird.
With that trail of thought he dashed forward summoning another ten E rank boom bugs before leaping into the air over the beasts.
They turned around to continue their attack, but a loud boom noise put an end to them as quickly as they appeared.
As he landed he spotted a small cave off in the distance, leaving his five D rank silver ghost behind to consume the crystals, he dashed towards it.
As Kishio entered the cave, at the far end of the cave he could see a huge undead-like dog feasting on a stack of crystals, beside it another one of the undead-like dogs could be seen ramming its head into the cave walls.
Its head was bleeding out and its skull could be seen as part of the skin on its head was gone, soon the beast stopped moving and its body collapsed to the floor, its body slowly fading away and turning into a crystal adding up to the stack the boss was feasting on.
The dungeon boss raised its head, its blood red eyes staring at the intruder who had interrupted its feast. It took a few steps forward standing in front of its stack of crystals as if protecting it from a thief.
'Quite a big dog' Kishio thought to himself internally, but he wasn't frightened in anyway, this was a fight he could end with just one of the beasts in his arsenal, just an F rank dungeon boss, making it top E rank at best, he could still end its pitiful life easily.
The dungeon boss immediately turned around and continued feasting on the crystals behind it seemingly in a haste as if expecting something.
Kishio decided to sit and watch what the dungeon boss was up to.
In a short while the beast consumed the entire stack of crystals then the beast let out a mad roar, its head shaking and it behaved as if it had gone mad.
Suddenly it stopped.
It turned to look at Kishio directly, the energy in its body rising.
"Evolving dungeon boss. Surprisingly by cannibalism." Kishio commented casually like he was watching a movie, not even bothering to stop the dungeon boss, why would he?
It was about to be a part of his undead army so he was more elated about its evolution, one could say Kishio was happier than the dungeon boss that it was evolving.
Its blood red eyes staring directly into Kishio's.
It immediately began to run straight directly at Kishio who remained seated, the beast's sharp teeth on full display, saliva dripping from its mouth.
"Wake," Kishio heard Uragami's ghostly voice whisper in his mind, snapping him out of a daze he didn't even realize he was in.
Kishio immediately leaped into the air avoiding the beast's charge, he stepped on the beast's head before leaping again performing a flip and landing several metres from the beast.
'Strong psychic powers' Kishio noted a bit surprised the boss's psychic powers could work on him.
He silently admitted to letting his guard down while also thanking Uragami mentally.
He summoned his long green sword, he wanted to test the boss's abilities before ending its life.
The dungeon boss turned around before dashing at Kishio again, its blood red eyes flashed, Kishio could feel it attempting to stun him, but the effect wasn't as strong as when he was off guard.
He began coating his sword in death's energy empowering the weapon with a feature like wither, as the beast leaped at him, Kishio side stepped before slashing at one of the beast's forelegs.
The long green sword went through the beast's leg with next to no resistance almost like hot knife through butter…but that wasn't all, the green sword began to crumble even after deactivating wither.
"Uh" Kishio exclaimed in surprise.
