Chapter 17 - Chapter 17- Title?

"Uh" Kishio exclaimed in surprise, he hadn't expected the long green sword to crumble just like that, although he hadn't used the weapon much, he had a good impression of the weapon considering how effective it was against the silver ghosts boss, he just never expected the weapon to be incapable of withstanding wither.

"Uhm, dear death god. Don't you think it would have been better to inform your loyal subject about the weapon's capabilities?" Kishio lamented a bit, after all he hadn't been gifted a proper weapon from Uragami, now he had no weapon to use in combat, but of course, his words fell on deaf ears as Uragami have no response.

A low whimper pulled his attention back to realize the current situation, a short distance away, the dungeon boss could be seen standing with three legs, its left foreleg missing with blood gushing out from where its front left leg was supposed to be.

The dungeon boss looked at the one who had robbed it of one of its legs with contempt and a bit of hesitation, but its hatred seemed to surpass its rationality as it leaped at Kishio again.

'Better end it's pitiful life' Kishio sighed internally as wither coated his entire right arm, using his arm as a weapon he slashed down at the beast.

Blood splattered onto the floor as the two halves of the dungeon boss withered into nothingness as they fell before even touching the floor.

A small blue vortex opened up at the edge of the cave indicating the dungeon had been cleared, although there was more than one way to leave the dungeon, the blue vortex was to signify it had been cleared.

A young man with long black hair seemingly appeared out of nowhere, behind him a hovering structure could be seen, the structure quaked a bit before crumbling, the crumbling pieces vanished before hitting the ground.

"Well at least I got something out of this hunt," Kishio mumbled to himself looking at the details of his undead beasts.

"Look! Look! The dungeon…" a man in his forties could be seen standing up from beneath his shop's counter as he pointed at the crumbling dungeon.

"It has been cleared."

"My goodness, I thought I would have lost all my goods."

"Hey! Any idea on who cleared the dungeon."

"Could it be the local guild? Would they come to ask for the completion fee after this."

The market villagers who either had nowhere to go or those who had stayed trying to pack as much of their goods spoke amongst themselves after seeing the dungeon vanish, but they could only make speculations based on their thoughts, none of them actually dared to go over to check out who had cleared the dungeon in fear of crossing path with the members of the local guild.

–A while ago–

"Hey Reiner, what do you think about this dungeon?"

"It's F-ranked. There's nothing to think about."

"You say that after mobilizing a group of seven to clear the dungeon."

"It's the boss's decision to be careful, after all it's a dungeon over two months old"

"Oh! And there's nothing to think about it." The voice replied with a smirk.

A group of seven could be seen clad in light armour walking towards a floating structure a distance away when they suddenly saw the structure quake a bit before crumbling away.

The group halted their steps in surprise as they suddenly saw a long black haired boy appear in front of the dungeon, confusion and surprise written all over their faces.

"Uhm, Reiner, is there someone capable of clearing a dungeon solo in the village?" The talkative voice asked his tone a bit confused.

The bigger figure beside him Reiner replied after a long pause "... I'm not sure."

The two seemed to have the same thought, if the figure ahead cleared the dungeon solo, he had to be at least D or C ranked and after the endeavour, he must be exhausted even if he wasn't, he couldn't possibly utilize his full strength.

And if he didn't clear the dungeon himself, the fact he came back outside without his other teammates meant they must have died inside indicating the dungeon must have been difficult for them, either ways the figure must be weakened.

With a group of two D ranks and five E ranks matching or beating a C rank was not impossible, they could take advantage of the figure's weakness and claim whatever loot he brought out with him.

Kishio still oblivious to the scheming seven a distance away from him read the details of the undead beasts over and over again

'E rank boom bugs 26, D rank boom bugs 158, E rank silver ghost 17, D rank silver ghost 4, C rank silver ghost 1…' the stats were mostly expected with the C rank silver ghost being a surprise, but the stunning info was the last one '...undead demon dog king (Title – Lord of Deception (incomplete))'

He had no idea what the title among the undead demon dog king's name meant, he could only guess it had something to do with it being the dungeon boss, but then again it also displayed 'incomplete' beside the title.

"Hands up and surrender your loots." Kishio suddenly heard a voice yell pulling him from his reverie, he looked around and noticed seven individuals clad in light armour surrounding him.

"Hmmm.." Kishio muttered.
