Chapter 18: His dark side.
In the morning....
Silver Mark had not been home for some days, he had gone for vacation to another country with his friends. He wasn't aware that his daughter Aria, was back to the house. When he got home, his wife informed him, he choosed to hide his feelings of missing her.
Aria just woke up when she heard her parents discussing in their room, she wanted to go meet her mother to check up on her. She stood at the entrance of their door listening to them.
"How was your trip with your friends?". Charlotte asked her husband sitting across to him.
"The trip was okay. You know since all of us had hand over our works to our children, we just have to be resting and helping them build more connections". Mark said looking at his wife.
"What are you planning for Maxson? He seemed to have stopped being rebellious since his brother had punished him". Charlotte said smiling.
"Hmmm, for now he should keep helping his brother at the company, with time he will learn a lot from him, by then I would plan for him to go and handle one of our subsidiary company". Mark answered his wife.
"Yes, that's better". She said nearing closer to him. "Honey, what about our daughter, can't you just let her do what she wants? She isn't a baby anymore you know". She tried persuading her husband.
"I doubt that would work on me. Since when as she being here?" Mark expression changed annoyingly.
When Aria heard her name, she had knew that her mother wanted to plead to her father on her behalf. She left their door where she stood and went downstairs where she met her grandparents.
"She just came back, is it bad your daughter came home to check on her family? Don't you know she misses her family since all these years? Or can't you respect that she has been gone for so long? Let her be please". Charlotte complained while moving out of the bed.
When Mark saw his wife had got angry, he quickly changed his expression and called her back. "Darling, I am so sorry if I had upset you. Please stay with me, I do miss our daughter, it just that I just want the best for her. I will accept her decision please darling". He said playing with her hair as he stood up to meet her.
Hearing what her husband had said, Charlotte smiled and hugged her husband, the adult couple had a nice time together before going to dine with the other members of the family.
"My darling princess, come to grandma". Grandma Lydia signaled to Aria who seemed unhappy. She hugged her and asked her why her expression wasn't okay.
"What happened to you my princess?" Grandma Lyda asked.
"Grandma, I want you to help me talk to your son, don't he love me? Or has he got another daughter else where? I came into this house because I had missed everyone but he had to be treating me in a bad way". Aria said in between sobbing.
"It okay my princess, I'll talk to your father uhn" Grandma Lydia promised her granddaughter.
Granpa Sky was also present in the living room, he was busy reading a magazine. He heard everything his wife and granddaughter had said. "Princess, come over here". Granpa Sky had always been known for his strictness and persuasiveness, he had always cherished the last born of the family, Aria, the only girl of the Silver family.
Aria went to him and started snuggling grandpa Sky.
"I will personally talk to your father, you know he will always listen to me right?" He reassured her.
"Yes granpa, I believe in you". Aria said and smiled to her grandparents.

Scott had waken up early to take care of his wife, Flora. She had slept well after they were both lucky to watch the shooting star. She slept well until midnight when she woke up to pee, she couldn't find Scott on the bed, "Where could he had gone this late night?". She had asked herself.
Though the drugs she took were so powerful, it would have affected her walking movement but the nourished food Scott fed her had reduced the drug's powerful functions. She stood up to the restroom, then decided to check inside the house for him.
She went to his study room first since that was where he had always spend most of his time at home. About to open the door of the study room, she heard his voice. She took the courage and opened little of it, she opened gently preventing the door from creaking.
"Boss, what should we do about them?" Prum meant the kidnappers who harmed Flora.
"Keep on touring them, there are some information I need from them". Scott said while smoking. The smoke filled the room where he was, the smoke was so much that it could suffocate anyone but because he had been used to it, it didn't affect him.
Flora could not hear what the other caller was saying, she could only hear Scott's words. He sounded so serious and deadly. What is the real identity of her husband? She wondered.
"Reset those code of yours to the inner cave ground". He said again pulling off his shirt.
"They would pay seriously for touching her" Scott told Prum, he sounded as if his voice had changed to a strange person. The aura in the room turned extremely cold due to his emotion.
Though the room was dark, where he stood was under a single light, it shone on his body. Flora could see his bare upper body, she focused on his body and saw a tattoo drawn on his chest. She got scared at first, the way he was standing looked like he had seen her.
She focused her eyes on the tattoo but couldn't see the drawing well. Suddenly the light went off, she immediately ran back to the room. She had actually found it hard to breathe while standing at the door because of the tobacco smoke in the room.
She went back to bed pretending as if nothing had happened. Few seconds later, she felt his hands around her waist. "When did he come in? When did he get to the bed? This man....". She thought in awe. The next seconds, a kiss landed on her forehead and in the morning both of them pretended as if nothing happened.

Maxson kept on visiting the girl he liked. Her name was Dyce Joan, a waitress in Clip de' aue restaurant in City B. Today, he had finished his work very fast at the company, so he left to see his her at her workplace.
Maxson came with his car and packed at the car park. He went into the restaurant, a flower bouquet in his hand for Joan. He got inside and couldn't find her, he called one of her workmate and asked after her.
"Excuse me, good morning, I am asking for Dyce Joan. Have you seen her today?". He asked looking around.
"Yes she is presently at work, but seems she went on an errand for our MD, she would be back soon. I have to go sir". The young lady said and left.
"Oh okay, thanks". Maxson said.
Maxson decided to wait for her, he sat down on one of the chairs in the restaurant, he ordered for a simple meal and engaged himself with something.
After an hour, Joan came to where Maxson had sat. "I am so sorry for keeping you waiting, I had to go do something important related to my work". She said apologetically.
"It fine by me, I didn't wait for so long. So are you done now? Do you have time today so I could take you out to somewhere private". He said trying to persuade her.
"Hmmmm, I can't leave work for now, I might loose my job". Joan said with a gloomy expression.
"Why would you loose your job? Why? Talk to me". He demanded.
She sighed before replying him.
